INDIGO DYE WORKSHOP WITH ELIN NOBLE

Explore the world of indigo and your creativity in an indigo dye workshop. We will learn about the Indigo dyeing process and resist techniques to achieve patterns provided by renowned textile artist, Elin Noble.
She is the author of Dyes & Paints: A Hands-On Guide to Coloring Fabric. She has a BFA in Fiber from the University of Washington. As a former Lab Manager at PRO Chemical & Dye, she has a vast experience and understanding of dyeing. She has appeared on PBS, lectured, and conducted dye and paint workshops across North America as well as internationally.
This workshop will include a shawl from Maiwa to make your own, as well as refreshments and dessert. Please bring your own lunch. Additional scarves to dye are available for purchase.
